Time Deltas
The CLI accepts two time delta styles.
These formats are used by flags such as --preserve-last and --fetch-max-age.
Legacy key/value
weeks=2,days=3,hours=1Rules:
- units must be unique
- negative values are not allowed
- unit names use full words such as
weeks,days,hours,minutes, andseconds
Common examples:
weeks=1days=14hours=12,minutes=30
Compact suffix
2w3d4h5m6sSupported suffixes:

Choosing a format
Both formats are equivalent. Use whichever one you find easier to read.
- The legacy
key=valuestyle is more explicit. - The compact suffix style is shorter and faster to type.
Zero
Both 0 and 0.0 are treated as zero duration.
